The pic below, is an early one, taken probably about the time the car was constructed as the Sledge... Since then, a few changes have been made, does anyone know what is different now, from this pic?

(Callaway4Fun, no looking at your pics;) )

Well not looking at my pics I can tell you that the Callaway number plate is moved. A hint to some it has an option that was not available in 1988.

OK, OK how about the ZF-6 speed and no forehead pad for the passenger. I hope everyone is enjoying their Callaway(s)!

Turbo Joe :upthumbs That is correct - it has a flat panel over place of the "breadbox", it also has had a zf6 speed retrofitted w/ FX3 added as well :cool

The floorpan and tunnel have been widened for the (HUGE) turbos & plumbing that the ZF fit right in :cool

Congrats :m

BUT

What's behind the flat panel & what is in the center console under the armrest lid:confused Anyone except Chris & Pete?

Looks like a boost controller knob, but its quite possibly a brake bias adjustment knob. Whoever gets the Sledge is going to get an engineering marvel. I have wet dreams about owning that Callaway! Please- someone in this group buy this historic car. :BOW
