Sliding seat on C5

Just purchased a 1998 Convertible in Texas. Very impressed with what great condition they are, no rust or corrison. I am from Minnesota.

The drivers seat, power, when you hit the brakes it slides about 3/4" to 1" forward. Funny feeling. Any ideas.

very well known problem - take it to dealer, there was a recall and/or TSB - they had to put NEW seat track in my 2001 Z06 under warranty

Agreed. The "rocking seat" phenomena is well known. Try searing our Knowlegebase- you should find the TSB on this.
