Anyone tried SLP runners on their Callaway. Supposed to be a direct bolt in to improve torque and HP throughout the rev range on a stock vette. Only about $260 in the Summit catalogue. Worth trying or not?

My Callaway:

1990 Twin Turbo: Big bore exhaust with no cats, K&N with open air filter box, 55 Hg boost.

Wonderbar's coming out soon as I get the time!

More flow- more go! That's what it's all about..

I would go with the AS&M runners you can have the sent to callaway and get the refinished like your current ones . It will look like stock runners. But also remember it takes more than runners . If you are increasing flow you should increase head and intake flow also to truely maximize their potential.

The SLP runner diameters are actually smaller than the factory. They would require massive extrude honning. The principle behind the siamese design is good, but only if the runners diameters were to be the same or larger than the factory runners. If your planning on making them larger then yes, there would be a benefit.

I prefer the Accell cast aluminum runners, because there's enough meat there to go from 1.5" diameter (factory) to 1.75 with extrude honning. Also because they are cast aluminum you can cut back between the runners in order to make them siamese, plus you can control how far back to cut in order to control the flow characteristics.

just like any other TPI car i would think with these alone won't give you what you expect. at the very least get your plenum ported also while getting a big mouth base to go along with your runners then have them all port matched. cam and heads would top it off nicely :)

not sure what size TB your B2K comes with but with the intake upgrade you might as well do a TB upgrade.
