Got the Vette out yesterday a.m. for a little drive. (It's the 1st time I have drove it in about a month) Just as I get into my neighborhood I hear a clunking sound out of my passenger rear tire. I stop get out do not see anything but I'm losing major air fast! I get into the garage get the tire off and what I thought appeared to be a nail only turned out to be someone's 6" flat head screwdriver they left laying in the middle of the street:mad

had same thing happen to me about a year ago.ruined the tire, when i was breaking it down ,found a screwdriver went through the tire and into the rim.lucky i was able to weld it up .....90 wheels are hard to find

Been there, but it my case it was a lousy welding rod! Went through the tread where it could have been patched, and out the inner sidewall. Trashed one tire. Also picked up a utility knife blade in a brand new high-performance tire more recently. A 1-1/2" slash also cannot be patched. Good thing I had road hazard coverage!
