Had a coupon; got my '89 Bimmer tested and chatted with Tom. He specializes in HiPerf cars and won't 'look the other way', but understands mods and is not freaked out by CARB stickers and all; quite important for the CA-required visual inspection. All the required gizmos are on and working on my car, but it is quite obviously NOT a stock '84.

When I get my miss resolved, I will take the Vette to him for the now-due sniffer test. He even offered a great discount, if I brought in this receipt! BTW, he knows what a Crossfire is and what stuff it is supposed to have. How many of these guys do?

I took mine to a place in Huntington Beach, called SMOG DEPOT.

Passed my '84 in dec .04.
Test only station.
