After 7 years of ownership and not really doing it justice - as in ignoring it as I had other distractions - it has a new owner. Someone that will appreciate it and use it. It was the best bang for the buck but I needed the garage space so it is gone. I bought it as a driver with 20K on the clock and never really 'drove-it'. It was too pretty to be a daily used car so it sat in the garage under a cover competing for the good weather with other diversions... It was my second LT4 Vette and I will miss that engine. I bought a 65 Chevelle and installed an L79 engine (327 CI 350 HP) period correct. After a few months of re-experiencing the 327 it is amazing how refined the LT4 is/was. Smooth idle, great torque and very fast. The local Corvette shop has a new (unused) LT4 sitting in their facility and I'm tempted to install it in the Chevelle... As I said the LT4 is great engine and for the most part I believe is unknown by many as to what it is.
