So, as some of you are aware, I ordered a new GS back in March while I was on leave from OIF. Well, it was built on the 24th of May and has since been sitting in NH at MacMulkin...

Dudes and Dudettes, these guys are freakin sooo cool! I've been talking to them over the past couple weeks working out paperwork and whatnots to get this car taken care of. Now that all is said and done, I've been trying to figure out the politically correct way to ask for photos... (I know, its silly)

Anyways, out of the blue, I get an email from Ron at MacMulkin with 19 pictures attached!!! And, after waiting the agonizing hour for my 3rd world internet service to scan and dowload them, here are some of the better ones!

...got owned by this really bad internet... Im gonna have to start putting it in timeout!!! :W

Nice car! Congrats!

We too just took delivery of a GS Vert from MacMulkin, great people to work with, and you can't beat their prices.

The Girl, The Car, The Home Coming

Newt373..First, thank you for your service to our country. Secondly, congratulations on your recent marriage..I'm sure you're both counting the days to your return home. And speaking of counting the days....it won't be long now before you hook up with your new Grand Sport. Hurry home.

ya, i couldnt decide on the color or if I wanted them so I held off knowing I can add them later.

Grnd Sport Heritage Package

The fender stripes are included in the Heritage Package which costs $1,195.

Includes two-tone leather seats, Grand Sport logo seat headrest embroidery and dealer-installed fender stripe hash mark design in Light Silver Metallic, Pearl White, Victory Red or Cyber Gray. Must specify Red, Cashmere or Titanium Gray two-tone leather seating surfaces. Must specify fender stripe color.

Maybe the stripes alone are available from the dealer.

yuppers...

and, yes, you can order the stripes on your own. Its just another reason I chose to hold off. Shopping around yields results for non-Chevy GS Stripes which dont have the trademark emblem and the GM product that does. Of course there is a "slight" price disparity...

I did get a real close look at a 2011 4LT CRM GS with F55 which also had the two-tone seats either from or similar to the Heritage package. It was rediculously sharp looking. He didnt have the stripes either. Unfortunately, I was too busy drooling over my car during delivery to remember to take some pix! Sorry.
