i don't even know where to start.. are there specific compatibility issues i should know of? or any speakers in particular/amps/subs/whatever that handle better than others in vettes? haha pretty vague post i know, but i gotta start somewhere

Hang in there, there are plenty of people here who will gladly fill you in with their experiences with aftermarket radios (sound systems). It's just not my forte.
