Spark Plug Replacement

Anyone have a good suggestion for replacing plugs #2 & 4 on a 1991 C4? That #2 plug is really a "Bear". I have contemplated removing the plastic wheel well on the right front to gain better access, but am not sure that would even do the trick. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

People have done that and claim it makes the job a lot easier. I have never tried it myself but it makes sense, and it's easy to remove.

I just did this 2 weeks ago on my wife’s 88 coupe. Take the wheel and the wheel well off. Do this in the shade, I didn’t. It is not fun, but a lot easier this way. Torque to 22 foot lbs. All four of mine were loose. Dealer changed them last. Have fun!!!!!

Yup, remove the center wheel well, it is only a few easy to get to bolts. Then you can easily get at those two plugs with long extensions. Getting the wires off the plugs is still a pain. But it is much easier with plastic off.
