Spark Plug Replacement

Anyone have a good suggestion for replacing plugs #2 & 4 on a 1991 C4? That #2 plug is really a "Bear". I have contemplated removing the plastic wheel well on the right front to gain better access, but am not sure that would even do the trick. Any suggestions would be appreciated. :)

People have done that and claim it makes the job a lot easier. I have never tried it myself but it makes sense, and it's easy to remove.

I just did this 2 weeks ago on my wife’s 88 coupe. Take the wheel and the wheel well off. Do this in the shade, I didn’t. It is not fun, but a lot easier this way. Torque to 22 foot lbs. All four of mine were loose. Dealer changed them last. Have fun!!!!!

Yup, remove the center wheel well, it is only a few easy to get to bolts. Then you can easily get at those two plugs with long extensions. Getting the wires off the plugs is still a pain. But it is much easier with plastic off.
