spark plug wires

What brand/part # of spark plug wire set would you-all recommend for my LT4 engine? I am running headers so I want to "make" the spark plug end to a custom length for clearance.
Would prefer red or black; not blue nor yellow if at all possible. I imagine 8MM is thick enough. Thanks

MSD sells a custom set you cut & crimp yourself, you'll just need a good set of crimpers.
