getting ready for spring, just wondering what type of spark plug you use or recommend. thanks

Nothing fancy ... no exotic metals, no multiple electrodes. I personally do not care for champion brand. I like PLAIN: Bosch, Autolite, Motorcraft, ACDelco, ND (nippondenso) ... in no particular order. Get whatever range is specified by plug mfg for your year & model ... 74 on back w/ points gap plugs about 0.035" ... 75-up w/ electronic/HEI dist gap plugs about 0.045". If it's been awhile since you changed plug wires ... get new wires too ... your car will like any brand with a helical/spiral core-conductor. Accel P/N 5050 have the spiral core & are correct P/N & fit for 75-up vette w/ HEI ... nice price too. Welcome to CAC!
JACK:gap

I use Bosch Platinum. I've had a lot of luck with them on many different cars. Just be sure to get the correct heat range no matter which brand you choose.

If I don't use Bosch, I typically go with ol' faithfull ... AC/Delco. (If it's a stock motor)

right now i'm running rapidfire, just wondering if something better is out there. i know i need to replace the wires with some new ones. it is a stock 76 L48
(jack) thanks for the heads up on accel 5050, they are price right

My 350..

Uses only R44T Ac Delco spark plugs.:w
