Need to replace my spark plug wires. Local shops have three choices

Borg Warner
Auto light
Exact

What do you guys recommend? What have you used and been happy with?

Go online and get ACCELL's 8.5mm, spiral wound. Cost a bit more, but I feel they're worth it.

Lot of people seem to recommend Taylor wires. Anyone have any experience with them?

On a cosmetic note I think they're red, could look good!

Taylor wires on mine
Seem to be working great with MSD digital6 box
Look good to me

Called Summit, they suggested MSD 8.5mm Super Conductor Universal Spark Plug Wire 74.95+8.95 shipping and Handling. The guy said that was the most popular for LT1 pilots, so I placed the order. I will let you know how they run. Been an expensive day for Scarlet, $350 for fuel injector cleaning, $85 for top o' the line wires, $200 for a new (well slightly used) door panel, The wicked loopsided grin you get as your pushed back into your seat buy that oh so nice Corvette acceleration.......Priceless:D .

I just installed the Accell Spiral wound on my 84, reasonably priced and look good.

MSD 8.5mm Super conductors here!!!

I'll second the magnecor almost 200,000 on my Vette and they are the best i have found!

I just went with the regular ole' AC Delco. I think it's fine for my everyday driving. :)

magnecors are the sh*t

But for my street cars I go with the premade Accel 8.5s made for big blocks, mainly for the straight boots( cut off all the air lines to exhaust on the vette so they work well) color and prior good luck with them. I dislike angled plug boots unless theres no other way to make them fit.

I am using red Taylor Spiral Pro on my LT4....been on a year with no complaints.

He gave you good advice Nothing better than the Superconductors.
With stock ignition system any good wire will do but for high performance there is a good reason why most of the top dragsters use MSD Superconductors
