Air drag, rolling resistance and horsepower are the limiters as far as I know.
Oh, and how long you can hold the throttle down.

I can hold it down for along time.so I've had to 160's

Nice. Been there a couple of times myself but it takes a little longer with a standard Vette.

Now you need to find a wide open stretch of road and see just how far it will really go. Or you can try an open road event like Sandhills where they have flying mile runs.

Keep the shiny side up.
