changed and lubed the lower speedo cable but now trying to connect it to the upper connection at the transducer , there seems to be a ring that has popped outward and now the upper cable won't screw on. what do i do to pop the ring back in?

does anyone have and info on this problem . i really need the help.

sorry, i meant to reply the other day, but i took a brain fart.if your talking about the connection to the speedometer,i unscrewed mine on the 75 then discovered that the metal ring is a snap clip. you must push inward on the spring and put on the cable, when you release the spring it will hold the cable in place.mike

No.. the one connecting to the transducer/cruise
