Since I have the revised tranny installed the speedometer acts funny.

not always but at some moments it drop to 3 miles and then up again to the actual driving speed.

The repairshop looked at the plugs but could not find anything strange.

anyone experienced the same ? and what caused it ?

Speed Senser going bad or a Stretched wire, from installation!! Probly the latter!! I seen them stretched and breaking wire inside Insulation and sometimes giving Intermitent Signal!! From forgeting to un-plug removeing tranny!! ECM can also couse this, But I would check out Senser and wire for falt First!! My scanner will let me pull up all speed senser's at once,While driving to help narrow down the Prob.!! :upthumbs junk!!

Can you re-phrase that please,

mie inglish is nod tat goood ;)

Do I need a special scanner to pull up the speed sensor ?

the first part of the "broken" wire I understand. I will check the cables on continuity testing with my multi meter.

Mi english is not that Gooder neither( North Carolina Hillbilly!) Not Broken wire but Streched, when wire is streched sometimes wire strand's brake in differnt places Insulation couseing weak continuity and will brake circut momentairly from Viberation or Bump in road or even heat !! (Makes it Hard to find!!) My scanner let's pull up all senser's at once so I can see Signal from Tran's, LF wheel,RF wheel,RR wheel and LR wheel. While Driving!! So I know where to start Looking!! If there is no interruption in Signal's I would be looking at ECM!! Your's is probly Trans. wire or senser, inlight of having trans. out of car!! :upthumbs junk!! P.S. sometimes you can feel the streched place in Insulation on wire!! you may have to remove outer casing that wire's are run through!!

Thanks,

will bypass the wire(s) to find the actual problem. and then I can fix it.

the hillbilly accent should't be a problem for me,
I am a fan of Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall and Larry the Cable Guy.
they are just hilarious on the Blue Collar Comedy tour.
