How do I lubricate the speedometer cable? The needle has started to shake a little between 0-25 mph and between 60-85 mph. I have the 700R4 transmission, if that makes a difference.

Thanks!

I've been told by vendors not to lube the speedo cable. It better to simply replace it. They are not that much... just difficult to replace.

I tried putting graphit down the head end when I had the dash out but it only lasted about a week, I think you have to replace it. I have not attempted that yet, I have a new one but getting to the end at the meter is not easy.
