Anybody have problems with the speedometer being off? I have had the occasion to be driving with different members of my family following me in different cars and everytime they have said I am driving 5 mph slower than the posted speed liits and in my '04 it is reading the speed limit. Could my speedometer be reading that far off?

I use a GPS that has the speed on the screen. I have never been more than 1 mph off in my 2000 C5.

Changed tire sizes? That's the onlt thing I can think, unless it was programmed wrong in the computer. Either way I believe that it can be adjusted in the computer.

No tire size change, everything is factory original. I guess I wil have to have the calibration checked, or just drive faster!

There is no calibration that I am aware of. The previous poster is correct though... it can be adjusted in the PCM. A dealer could do it with a Tech 2, or any shop that does tuning on these cars could use their software to make the change.

If my speedometer read 5 under I'd only be going 10 over. ;LOL
