Hi everyone! I`ve been trying to do a Speedo conversion for my 80.I want to dump the 85mph for the 140mph from the early 79.I have acquired the 140 mph face. Now I am having trouble locating a rebuild kit for it.Any thoughts?I saw a complete 140 mph Speedo in the ZIP catalog but I was warned off by a fellow owner that ZIP products can be of poor quality.Any Insights?
On another note thanks to the members who encouraged me to do the 700R4 conversion. Its quicker and more fuel friendly for sure.:s

I've done business with Zip over the years, haven't really had any more quality related problems with them than with any other supplier. The majority of parts supplied by Zip come from the same suppliers who furnish parts to the other major aftermarket firms, so in most instances if there is a quality related problem with a part from one supplier, it's the same from most if not all of the others, also. Not true with every part, but with the majority of parts.

My $0.02

rlm:cool

Hey thanks for the replies I`m going to call Redline Monday talk to John and hopefully be on my way.$57 dollars! It would be nice to actually know how fast I`m going up in the triple digits.:Steer
