Speedometer Start Up Indicator

I have wondered this my good Z06 friends.

When I start my Z06 the speedometer moves to 190 mph.

Is this any indication what the maximum rated speed of my Z06 is?

Does every Z06 get a 190mph start up?

The top speed in a Z06 is topped out in 5th. That is about 168-170 MPH. There is not enough engine power to go faster yet in 6th at those speeds.

It is kind of a virtual top speed - the car virtually goes from 0 to 170 with a flick of the wrist (as in turning the ignition key). If memory serves, c4c5specialist commented in a prior post that this was a normal function that is performed at start-up.
