Crap!! I'm not planning any trips to the L.A. area in the near future so the kick in the skin will have to wait.

This is the only other Speedster I've seen in person besides the ones last weekend.

Ohh Man - you were digging through past posts ;)

That car, Speedster #009, you have now seen completed - If you go to www.callawayownersgroup.com , click on "Gallery" then you will see all the past Callaway Of The Month cars - look for last month's COTM, you will see everything you ever wanted to see / read about that car :upthumbs

Chris,

I'm not sure Corvette Mike would have put C5 wheels on a speedster. I do know that Corvette Mike chromed my OZ wheels, perhaps they did the same with Cameron's speedster.

Although the mag scan isn't too clear, to me the spokes on the scan are not the same as the spokes currently on the black speedster. The current wheels have spokes which seem to be the same width from the center of the wheel to the rim of the wheel, where as the scan seems show spokes which are wider at the center of the wheel (thinner towards the rim), much like the OZ's.

Luigi, I saw that car shortly after that ad was run, wearing the wheels it has now at the Corvettes @ CArlisle show - I believe the car was still owned by Cvt' Mike. The wheels in the scan are OZ's similar to yours - I do not rcall them as chromed though...
I may be able to find that pic of the car at Carlisle - It was advertised with a "Titanic" theme sitting on brilliant blue shag carpeting :eek
