I'm probably calling this wrong sorry, but the flywheel guard I took off my old motor doesn't seem to fit the crankshaft radius right, the new engine is bigger and this guard won't fit up inside. I searched the archives and couldn't locate anything about it. There must be a different p/n for this engine, anyone run across this before??

Bill

Edit: Looks like maybe trimming back the two ears and grinding the radius a little might make it fit. I hate to do that though!

And the answer is.........Get out the tin snips and trim back the radius. I just used a pencil to draw a guide line about 1/2" in from the existing edge and cut along the line with a good pair of snips. The two tabs can be cut about in half then reformed to catch against the oilpan.
Thanks to forum member theandies for the help!:D
