Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch is proud to announce the inception of several NEW one-day driving schools. These adrenaline-packed schools can easily fit into your busy calendar, and are currently being scheduled during the summer and into the fall season. 1 Day Performance Highlights

* Braking and Avoidance exercises
* Skid Control
* Heel and Toe Downshifting
* Shadow Lapping
This action packed day introduces you the world of performance driving. After you finish your braking and heel and toe, now you are ready to get on the 2.2 mile road course for your lapping sessions! You will gain a new appreciation for your own skills and for the Corvette. $850.00

Car Control Clinic

* Braking Exercises
* Accident Avoidance Exercises
* Skid Control
* Varieties of Skill Building Exercises
This course will build the drivers knowledge, skill and confidence; with emphasis on hand eye coordination, visual scanning and learning vehicle dynamics. $500.00

Accelerated Lapping

* Heel and Toe shifting warm up
* Several shadow lapping sessions

Timed Open Lapping the Rest of the Day!
This class is only for the graduates of our Level 1 & Level 2 schools. $1000.00

You know, that 1-Day Performance Highlights class looks very tempting. Can you tell me what sort of student to teacher ratio you folks have? Or, maybe I ought to just go see if it says on your website. :duh

You know, that 1-Day Performance Highlights class looks very tempting. Can you tell me what sort of student to teacher ratio you folks have? Or, maybe I ought to just go see if it says on your website. :duh

The ratio of instructors to students depends on what you are doing at the time.
Braking exercise is 2 instructors for the group of 8-12 students, because you are watching and learning as it happens.

If you are on the track, there is usually 1 instructor for each 3-4 students and usually another instructor spotting at the more difficult corners. All instructors have radios direct to your car. The Instructors do NOT miss anything. They will tell you what you did wrong (or right) immediately.

An instructor will also ride with you at times and you will ride with an instructor at times to get an idea of just what line you should take and how fast it is possible to take it.

The classes are structured so that they can adapt to the various needs of students. If you need more help in one area, they will do that.

Shadow lapping will generally have 3 to 5 cars behind an instructor. Each car will have the opportunity to follow directly behind the instructor for several laps.

The summer one day classes are expected to be smaller (fewer students) than the regular 3 day classes. This means that you get even more individual instructor time.
