OK, so, here we go. My '94 Vert with 80.5k on the clock just got the service of a lifetime. IMHO. When I bought the car I knew I was going to have to do some work. You could tell the car was driven hard and had very little service history except for a few documented oil changes.(I quess thats why I got it for under 10k.) lol
I plan on bringing her back to better than new, and keeping her as long as I can, and I will be driving more (even in Winter) so I decided to go ahead with the following:

Opti
Plugs and wires
Waterpump
T-Stat
Coolant flush
All hoses incl. heater hoses
Coolant temp sensor
Trans service
Brake fluid change
PCV valve
Oil change
Serpentine belt
Fuel filter

Total parts and labor $2300.00 :puke

I have a lot more to do incl. complete polyurethane suspension kit, new interior, new trim and moldings etc, etc, etc. The list goes on and on.

Just thought I'd share the first stage of my money spending binge :L
Thanks for readng.

I'm kind of doing the same thing....let me tell ya, a nasty drug habit is cheaper!
Mine got all of that, wheel bearings, rack & pinion, hoses, anything outside the cabin that might wear...

Inside, carpets coming, weather strip installed, new door panels last.
Complete paint strip & repaint when everything else is done...

Between playing "catch-up" and still doing the normal wear maint, it's a full time job, and a damn expensive one at that !
Somedays I wonder IF I would rather be spending that same money each month on a new one...but anyone can do that.

Enjoy your project !

I hear ya!!! But ya know it's a passion, and passions can sometimes cost ya big. I don't see many C4's on the road and I think it's a shame. These are great cars with practically bullet proof engines, and great looks.
Remember: Don't Crush um, Restore um! :thumb

I am currently replacing all weatherstripping and getting a new top to install. Oh the joys........

I know, I too growl at the price of maintenance and re-furb but, compaired to an exotic of the same era, fixing a Vette is a deal! And - it will still kick ass on just about any domestic of the same age and many imports as well! Outside of sex, it's still the best rush for the money:dancenaughty:dancenaughty:lou

I agree 100%

I dunno....the last "domestic" that I had was also 23,:thumb but she'd do some tricks that even my beloved corvette could not compete with!
I guess it was an acceptable state of excitement when I was able to enjoy both of them at the same time.......(insert imagination here)
