Stall Converter

Does a 86 Corvette come stock with a stall converter rated at 2000 rpm's or higher ? someone is trying to tell me their stock vette stalls at 2400 rpm's . I really do not care , just woundering . He also has 2.73 rear gear .

85 and 86 have a 2000rpm TC from the factory.

All later vettes have something in the 1500rpm range.
