Standard Seat Control Housing

My FRC has the standard seats and not the sport seats. On the driver's seat the plastic that houses the seat controls on the left side of the seat is broken into a number of pieces and the seat controls are hanging by wires. Does anyone know if I can replace just the plastic piece? Or does GM sell you the whole seat? I didn't see anything at Eckler's that looked like a replacement part.

Yes, that part is available separately. I bought one for my '97 with standard seats. I don't know the part number.

I too replaced the same part. The part # is 12455426 ( LH ). You do not have to dismantle the seat as the Service Manual states. It is close work but can be accomplished with the seat in the car. The cost was about $ 7.00 from the dealer. Good luck !

Thanks! That's the info I'm looking for. I will go to the dealer and have one ordered. The price is too cheap to have GM Parts direct ship.
