Can someone tell me why some steel wheels for C2's were riveted and some were welded? Does it coincide with early/late wheels?

Steel wheels

I have recently taken off of my c2 1965 vette four riveted 15x5 1/5 KH stamped USA steel wheels stamped GM on front side , I am ready to sell for reasonable price to the person in need .

Those wheels are Service replacements - all production wheels were welded. :thumb

John thanks for your response on the wheel mystery.Do you by chance have any idea of value of these replacement wheels?:chuckle

Zero, Zilch, Nada. Unless of course you find someone who is specifically looking for a lesser quality wheel. Then it is whatever they are willing to pay for them.
