Hey guys, 1st post from a newbie here. I'm working on my girlfriends 96LT-1. Trying to remove to the steering column to do some repairs and I'm stuck at the flange on the floorboard. Electrics are unpluged, and the coupler forward of the fire wall is loose. The column is loose, but it looks like the flange at the floor with the two 13mm nuts (nuts are off) is behind the parking brake pedal mounting bracket. Does this bracket have to come off? Is there any thing special to know or do to remove it? Stupid Haynes manual says to undo coupler and pull out.
.
Thanks in advance for your help.
