Question: Steering play on 2005 coupe

I have noticed some play in the steering wheel ( 3/4 of an inch L&R) which is unnerving. Does or has anyone had this experience and what was done to correct it? The dealer says there is some play but at this time I'm not buying it!!

Very simply, drive another 05.
But it would also be suggested to have an independent shop check out the suspension

Found out they had to do some adjustments and all is well. Now if they can get the other things on the list fixed I will be a happy driver

Just curious how many miles you have on the car.

By adjustments do you mean alignment?

I had an issue like that on a 2002 and it took a four wheel alignment to cure it.

23,600 miles. It's not an alignment issue but play in the steering wheel before I feel imput to the wheels.
