Steering wheel a little loose

I noticed after having my car inspected that my steering wheel jiggles slightly back and forth now like maybe it got loose by someone using the wheel as leverage to get out of the car ad . It's not bad, it just drives me crazy. Is there an easy way to tighten that up? They also knocked off the display for my CD player that was mounted above the OBDII port ad ad . They didn't say a word about it. I can glue it back on to the bracket.

Got any info for the problem of left/right turning (not up/down tilt) slop inside the column? I have heard of a few folks that had this but haven't found any procedure to deal with it. I have discovered that its been a GM TSB for about the last 6 or 8 years of C4 production, just never got fixed. Sounds like planned obselence to me.
