Just received the new steering wheel for my 74 coupe. It now has a after market wheel in it and I am going back to original. Can someone tell me what is involved in replacing the wheel? Do I need special tools? If so what do I need? The car has the adjustable column if it matters..

Not much, i have a 77 with a tilt/tele column, and it took just a phillips and flat screwdriver, thats it...

Just make sure you disconnect your battery, i didn't at first and shocked myself a few times. :W

Use a flat blade screwdriver with tape wrapped around it to pop off your horn button.
Underneath that there are 3 screws that hold the horn button assembly, remove that.
Then on my car there was a butterfly screw and 2 small phillips head screws that held the tilt/tele adjuster in place(don't know what you'll have)
then i think there are 8 screws that hold the actual wheel in place.

Should take no more than 30 mins, really easy job.
