Guys,

I have a 93 red vert and it has the base stereo with the cassette in it. I want to retain the factory look but I want a deck with a CD player. Is there any site that sells "pulls" out of other Corvettes that maybe owners repalced decks on? Thanks in advance.

No there really isn't. Originality is my credo and I am also looking for a correct radio/Cd player. Check EBAY and others.

comment: If you have the Nov. issue of Vette there's an ad on page 18 you can check out. It says to call for price. I called a good while ago wanting to buy a Delco/Bose Gold Series AM/FM Stereo w/ CD player and Cassette tape player. They wanted about $350 and had 3 at the time, but I passed (my mechanic had a family tragedy and I didn't trust anyone else to do the work-- and no, not even the dealships).

I sold the issue thru Custom Autosound of CA. They were a bit slow in getting the product out the door, but it's great. I upgraded from a Bose AM/FM Cass (tape didn't work) to Bose compatible (direct fit, incl wiring) AM/FM Cass & CD. The sound quality is so much better it's incredible!!! Glad I didn't have to remove Bose speakers, the ones in the doors are a real BEAR to get out

The unit looks like it's stock. I'm very happy with it & have gotten numerous compliments on it.
