Try Goof-Off. You can buy it at any hardware store. ;)

3M Adhesive Remover - most larger auto parts stores have it, and any automotive paint supply store will have it.

WD-40 works great on many of these. Is NOT an oil, BTW.

Mineral Spirits or even lady's finger nail polish remover works great. Wash the area IMMEDIATELY after applying the Mineral Spirits if you go that way. Oh, and btw...... this may sound silly; but be sure to use clean Minerals Spirits. A buddy used some used stuff that had some while paint still in the mix........ well, you get the idea. Good luck.

Cigarette lighter fluid will take the goo right off. It should not dis-color anything in the process.

I use a razor to remove old registration sticker glue. Fairly easy.

I'll second the motion for Goo-Gone. Used it many times for many things. Plus it smells nice...mmmm, oranges.... :t
