stinger stripe on 67 hood

I'm getting a 67 big block hood painted with a stinger stripe. Does anyone have a detailed picture of the stripe that I can use for a reference?

If you look in the assembly manual it will tell the dimensions of the stripe, although it may just be easier to buy one of the masks from a vendor.

My pop is the same way 66 wanting a 67 BB hood. I keep trying to tell him that the 65/66 BB hood is actually better looking and to boot the vents probably help somewhat... If you are really set on it though go for it man it's your vette.. I'm not a numbers guy so I like em all even ones with flares b/c once again it's you and what you want... Dave..

I just came back from a Fathers day picnic/ Corvette show where there was this orginal paint BB '67. I have a really good close up shot of the stripe (not sure how to enclose the photo with this, If your interested, email me at warren@integrity.com and I'll send it along to ya).
I must agree the '67 Stinger Rocks! If you want it, put it on and enjoy it!

I have a 67 BB hood on my 64 and ordered and have received a stencil kit from a web site to apply a stinger stripe. I have not had it painted on yet but the kit looks very complete. The web site is www.stencilsandstripes.com . They sent the kit along with a few pictures from various angles. I am looking forward to getting this done very soon. Good luck and I agree the 67 BB hood looks great.
