I have a built 1996 LT4, that I have had since day one. I now have 100,000 miles on it......

11.9 @ 121 best ET. on street tires..... 11.8 @ 126 with 75 shot, turning the NOS off 3 times, not to smoke stock clutch....

Stock block/crank/rods
SRP pistons 12:1 compression
Comp 306 cam
Full length long tubes/no cats/3 inch duals/flowmaster mufflers
my heads, fully worked 2.02/1.60 valves, pro. mag. rockers
my intake ported to match heads and TB
58 mm TB
ported MAF
36 lbs injectors
255 L/Ph SVO injectors
tuned stock OBDII ECM
stock clutch
real ZR1 wheels/rears widened from 17x11 to 17x13 for my Kumho V700 335/35's
stock tranny

that's about it.... very happy with the car!

who else has a pretty fast stock stroke LT4 out there?

-Brian

Is your engine bored out? In other words is it still stock displacement, 5.7L?

it's .040 over.... makes it like a 357 CI, only internal part change is the pistons...

Sweet car.:upthumbs

Post some pic's so we can all drool over it.

Jason

Its nothing to drool over. Your stock motored LT4 would probably beat it. :s

:D

Nice. How does it do with an emissions test? Can you post the readings from your emissions test?
Thanks
Just curious how well it does considering you are running 12.x compression and using 202/160 valves.

That is impressive!

Tell us about those top end speeds (still 3.45's)?

Course you are in a select group as most add a longer stroke crank when rebuilding 350's.

Does this run on pump gas?

With all that power, I'm surprised the clutch hasn't blown! How much power can the stock LT4 clutch handle?

Wow, 11.9 is awesome!!!:BOW

The car does have 3:45's still and does run on 93 octane pump gas. ;)

Top speeds?.........I'll just say, "in the 200's". :upthumbs

So are you refering to SNKSKR's car or what???

The stock clutch can handle a little over 460rwhp on street tires. Sticky tires, on a well preppared dragstrip, will smoke the stock clutch pretty quick.

Your car is awesome. I remember stories of some top speed runs youv'e had and am lookin' foreward to more...
