hey All,

I had a prisitne set of Callaway dymags mounted with tires (original w/1200 miles) stolen from a storage facility in Miami, Florida about 18 months ago.

please think of me in case a super clean set ever surfaces.....$5000+ reward. I want them back!

thanks

One of these days I go scout some of the Wheel shops off 441. Is there a finders fee ;)

Oh and I think you should throw in a pair of broken legs to whoever took them as interest for the grief and trouble. :mad

Id be willing to make a trip assisting in that venture ;)

Having two cars stolen in the last year and a half, I completely understand the frustrations with having your stuff stolen.

Triple that,

I hate it when people cannot keep their fingers of otherones properties.

good luck in your search, and I will keep my eyes open too.

Whoa, that's awful!

Post a pic of what one of these looks like and I'll let you know if they show up in one of my frequent searches. Were they painted/polished?

Callaway Dymag says it all.
Hopefully you will find someone selling a set and get yours back, Everyone knows who should own a set. If someone is selling a set they must not know what they are or they are not theres.

I had a 73 Trans am with a 455 stolen years ago. It's a horrible feeling to have something stolen.

Kingforward, please correct me if they are different:

Brandon, here is what the wheels would look like:

Sorry to hear they got stolen! I know some people on this forum auto search for everything Callaway on the net so with some luck they will surfice agian. But it already is 18 months ago so that already is a long time. Why did you wait so long to report the stolen Dymags here? Good luck!

thanks All,
I have been keeping an eye out for them locally (bargain trader, craigslist, police recoveries, etc.) and internet. I decided to speak up now when I read in a magazine recently that someone was able to aquire a set of dymags ( I think the older verision) for their CTTC.
The pain is that they belonged on my 1200 mile '91 CTTC aerobody...yeah, I was hot mad that day!

thanks again for the notes

pity that the wheels were not marked with the VIN
maybe this could be done with a special code in the wheel which is connected to the VIN in a save at Callaway.

So there is some kind of check up and the wheels are not only connected to 1 car in case of legit sale.

And even when our group is small there are still unknown owners and cars.
when one of them would find these wheels and lets say 6 months later gets spotted in our spotters guide, The car will hit the books as WITH dymags installed.

however we can put every new owner to an interrogation

Like what Peter said , Many of us is watching Ebay,Craigslist etc for Callaway goodies. So a pristine set of Dymags will surface someday.

keep an eye on ebay or any other internet selling sites. These wheels are rare enough, that one could probably distinguish one set from another. Hope you catch the POS that stole them.

Ok. Thanks for that info. I'll keep my eye out for cars that aren't from that time period wearing those wheels then.

I'll keep an eye on the internet for Dymags for sale.
