For the last month or so every time my Coupe in on an incline in the road the low coolant message appears on the DIC. As soon as I level out the message goes away. Is this something I should be concerned about? Do I need to take it in to be looked at?
Thanx Guys& Gals

Do you only get this message at steep downhill intersections after being stopped for several seconds?

I use to get that same message on my 98 at stop lights with the car stopped downhill.

Dealership changed the coolant sensor.

Still got it sometimes at the same steep intersection after being stopped for about 15 seconds. I think that gives the coolant time to flow foward too far and set-off the sensor.

is your coolent level too low??? that would be the obvious question.

the other solution is that it is an engineering flaw and the snesor was placed in a spot inwhich becomes dry when the car is on a steep incline or decline

but I am not really sure

Your coolant is DOWN a couple of ounces.
Just add liquid and make sure it covers sensor that
is screwed into the overflow tank. NO big deal, not
to worry.:TALK
