Somehow unknowingly, I stripped the threads for the lower bolt hole for the EGR heat pipe mount on the intake. I noticed a slight exhaust leak yesterday and when I put a wrench to the mounting bolts, the lower bolt just turned freely. I'm assuming I can just drill the hole out in the alluminum intake to the next size and re-tap it with no problem. It looks like a larger bolt head will clear the pipe just fine. But I thought I better put a thread out there just in case there is something I'm not aware of, or an alternate fix. What do you think?

Check the depth of the hole and threads, see if it is deeper than the length of your bolt, you just might get by with a longer bolt.

No it's stripped all the way down. Just got back from the parts store to get a heli-coil. I'll give that a try tomorrow.

Thanks Tigman
