Suicide Doors on C3 any pics?

I think Stallion missed the point...

I don't believe the comment was directed at you for being a non-Corvette lover or being outside the culture.
It was more a point about how other people view Corvette people. I don't think he meant to lump you in with that group, but may have intended to point out that you seem to be of the puritanist Corvette enthusiast and not of the external modification enthusiast.

My own objections to suicide doors on a vette is one of practicality. I just don't see how it could be done without making some drastic changes that may change the overall look of the vehicle. Good? Bad? Who knows? If it's your vehicle and it's your money...do what YOU like.

Regardless, we all love the Corvette. Some like their coffee black and others like to modify...:D...it's still coffee. Same thing with vettes. Everyone won't like the same thing, and I think it'd be boring if everything was the same.

I agree! And the point is not to disagree or agree on this Forum,I assume, its to state an opinion,or give some advice(which I need alot). But sooner or later that may ruffle someones feathers, but sometimes you gotta ask "Whats the point?" of someone striving to be different, just to BE different, and carving up their vette. But like its been stated...It is THEIR car to experiment on,& I'm all for trying new things.Sometimes its better to wait until after the prototypes been tested!:D

My original post was exactly how Heidi interpreted. Not directed to you, Stallion, but the way non corvette people view us as a group. Often vette people are classified as followers due to the strong restoration sector of vette people. Example: I was at an open car show and overheard two teens of the 1950's talking about how "vette" people never do anything custom to their cars and have the mentality that all vettes are highly prized rare collectible cars. We know this is not true on either case.

Please do not be offended Stallion - previous statements not meant to offend.

Here is a photo hack just to get an idea.

I don't think I really care for it, but it would be a novelty.

Wow!:( I think it looks kinda goofy, myself!:eyerole

That looks terrible, and in my opinion, it is no longer a Vette. He just ruined a perfectly good Shark. :( What a pity...
