Sun screens, anyone??

Can anyone recommend a source for a sun screen for the smoked roof on a C6 coupe?? On some days, my head gets baked!

Yes, go to Mid America Motorworks web site http://www.madvet.com/shop?frame=7.162.6420 . They have the static cling solar guard for the C6 transparent top. About $25.00 and works great. :cool

Thanks, Wheels! I just tried the Mid America source - their static clingers are on backorder now. Someone once referred to a screen which was temporary and attached with suction cups - like the ones to attach a radar detector to the windshield. Anyone familiar with these??

I was thinking of bringing mine into my local tint shop to see if they could but a dark film tint on mine as I am also suffering from the intense SUN SHINE here in Memphis, TN also

I bought the static cling from MidAmerica. Installation took all of about ten minutes with no problems at all. It stays in place great. Makes a huge difference in sun and in interior temperature. For $25, a darn good deal.

My chain auto supply store sells static cling by the small roll next to regular film. I paid about $15.00 and got enough for the top and spare material. You will have to make a template, and cut it yourself, but that's no problem.
