Sun Visors

The material?... Jeez. Why not just buy used ones in good shape? Unless you know a good seamstress and can find the exact fabric, seems to me used/pre-owned is the route to go. Whatever you do, good luck!!! :w

yea, depending on how bad the originals are.. I would consider replacing the whole thing.

There IS a thread on the forum re: a guy in KY that refurbishes C4 visors..

Have to do some digging and get back to ya

I have one of the lenses missing in the passanger side lighted mirror. The car came like that when I bought it. The part is not available in the after market dealers. So, I had to accept the car as it is rather than keeping my mind busy with it. I know I can buy the complete mirror assembly from Ecklers, but it is not worth it.

I actually had the local upholstry shop recover mine in leather... Looks good and did both for about 40 bucks....

just a thought

Good news! Good news! I spent a good amount of time here last night just looking around and thought of you and your dilemma---eBay Motors > Parts & Accessories > Car & Truck Parts in the C4 section. It's just C4 items and I saw ALOT of sunvisors w/ mirrors for sale. Some are listed as brand new at way under the cost of what Eckler's, MidAmerica Motorworks, Corvette Central, Corvette America, Zip, etc..., are asking. Turn on your internal "Buyer Beware" filters and have at it. It was fun looking at all the goodies. :w

Wow! -for your EZ-shopping convenience, the entire 2,000+ Ebay-inventory C4-Parts....
-Yes indeed, now appearing here by popular demand as if by magic is a one left-click
access into the entire Ebay inventory of C4-Corvette Parts(only), -yet unlike Ebay this
opens with the very latest entries, -whereby you will thus have advantageous early
shot at some enticing "buy it now" item...

But a good one. I wished I had done this instead of buying new replacements. After two years, with virtually NO outside time, the elastic is sagging and unuseable.
