BTW, the haynes manual may not be as good as the Shop manual from GM, but some info is in there like these codes and how to retrieve them. I think the haynes manual costs around 12 bucks. I bought my shop manual on ebay, in like new condition for 40 bucks.

The problem I have is my car is out of state and I can only work on it on weekends, It really sucks. This thing is getting the best of me and the snow is going to be flying soon. I will try a few more things this weekend. If it goes poorly I have no choice but to drop it off at a vett shop.

Have you been able to find the knock sensor line yet? How about the vacuum leaks. Do you need to drive the car home or something before winter? If not we can help you if we can exchange the right information.
