Question: Supercharger

Has anyone installed a supercharger on a C6 corvette with the LS3 engine and A/T with paddle shifters? If so, how did it go? Any problems? I'm thinking of installing a ProCharger but am corncerned about what the tremendous increase in HP might have on the trasmission. I don't race the car, just "romp" on the gas pedal occasionally. The local Chevy service manager said a friend of his that works in the Corvette performance Dept told him he suspects the maximum HP the A/T with paddle shifters can safely handle is about 500. With the ProCharger installed, the maximum HP at the transmission should be about 600.

Callaway sells automatics with 606 at the crank. I suspect they did the research and verified it can handle the power especially since the warranty it.
