I have an 88 rdstr with Z52 suspension. Basically this means the car has the Z51 frane braces and being a rdstr it also has the X Brace

For years now, I have run with Z51 shocks and liked them.

I just went through the upgrade of sway bars and here's what I found.

30mm bar in front is great! Initially I put a 26mm bar in the rear. Way too much bar for me! Steering changes quite a bit as does approach to and exiting turns. Probably good for AutoX, but in my IMHO, too much bar for the street.

This AM I installed a 24mm bar. Much better! Car handles same way it used to only better.

Ride is not harsh, car is flatter thru turns.

If you haven't considered it, think about upgrading your sway bars

I got mine from Jeff Kopp. www.superperformancechevy.com
