swaybar setup

I have a C5 with the chevy racing sway bar. My question is, if your right front tire is wearing out quicker than the left front, will a sway bar adjustment make a difference. The front end seems to wash out on hard left turns. My corvette mechanic at the dealership says that the right front should be loosened up. He made a 1/2inch adjustment, any ideas or advice. Keep in mind that this car only runs on the racetrack.
