T-Top Adjustments

How are mirror T-Tops supposed to look on the car. I don't think mine are adjusted properly and would like to know how to do it and what it is supposed to look like afterwards. If there are any pictures and if anyone knows how much space there should be between the m and such. Thanks!

I have a set of mirror tops on my 76, and my cousin has a set on his 80. The space between the tops looks pretty wide on both of them. Mine line up pretty well on the outside (even with the body), but there is about a 3/4" to 1" space between them, same with my cousin's vette. You'll just get used to the space.

Yeah, that's about what mine is. It just seems that the edges come out too far almost. Do you have any pictures?!
