"T-top" alignment

My "T-tops" don't meet when installed. There is about a 1/4" gap between them. Is this normal?? If not, What to do??

I think some of the hardware changed in '78 and you don't list what shark you have. For the record mine have a gap about the same as yours and they are water tight. My guess is that there is a lot of variabilty both now and when new. Show season is slowly working its way north, check out the C3s at the next windy city and environs event.

We've had 7 Vettes and it seems to me that there's always a gap between the left and right tops where they meet over the stainless t-bar. In looking at my 74 today, the space is consistent at about 1/4" in my estimate.

I think the fitment test is whether or not it leaks - - air or water. If not, I think you're good to go.
