Hi Diane re ur weatherstripping
Greetings from Canada....Jan (Vette Gal)
Hi Diane, did you open that last website which I sent
to you? I should have mentioned that on the top of each page there is a place which says "continue", you have to click on each page and it's step by step from beginning the installation to finishing up. I found it much easier to click each page and print it out, then we
sat and read it page by page in the garage and it made much more sense, as it showed the pictures as they went on...took the print out to the garage and had no more problems after that...our T Tops should be almost identical as yours is an 81 and mine is an 82. There is
a strip on the weatherstripping that has metal , it is metal to metal, it has to have post seal. It is the section
that goes on the T Top where you have to use the screws (over the door windows), the rest of the stripping just uses the adhesive. Hope this helps!
Thanks for the request to become friends, I have accepted glady, because it sounds like you are a hands on gal, such as I am, and I am right in their helping all
the time. Sometimes us gals have a little bit more patience than the guys
and in our garage my fingers are much smaller and I can get into places that hubby
can't....I guess I am good for something.
Actually it's my car and I detail it and keep it all " el primo" for the car shows...I don't mind telling you that
I can clean a car better than my house........more interesting I suppose. Send me a note and let me know how things are going.....see my post on girl in distress and the dilemma I faced a weekend ago when I broke down on the highway and I was in my PJ's..you will get a laugh over that escapade. Baby is all repaired now and snug as a bug in the garage.
Cheers Jan ...........(Vette Gal)
I have Collector Plates on my car and you can't personalize them, too bad eh?
