What is the correct redline on the tach for a 327 350 hp?

5500 rpm

Redline

Thanks, that's what I have but someone thought it might not be correct. Seemed kind of low.

If it was a high HP solid lifter engine, the red line would have been 6500 with either a BB, or a SB. The solids are different as they can rev higher, your welcome, :m

If thats correct, "John Z" would be the best source to get an answer to that question. Most Vettes with the hydraulic cam are at 5500 or damn close to that figure. I haven`t inspected later models of the Vettes as I really don`t have any interest in them nor the drivers as most but not all are rude, never wave to another Vette, and on the verge of road rage the way they drive. Nothing personal here, as I don`t think the forum has people like that. :pat
