Tach - Speedo

Is there any reason the C3 Vettes have the Speedometer on the left and Tach on the right?

Every other vehicle I have owned that has a tach, has it on the left, and speedometer on the right. I noticed today that the C5 Vettes also have them this way.

I am considering reversing the tach and speedometer just because of personal preference.

HELLO, The tach is on the right so it's close to the center gauge cluster. that way one can glance at the tach and gauges in the minimum of time
