Tachometer No Move No More... :(

Hi,

The tachometer on my 75 has been reading 1750 rpm constantly for about 15 years now. ;help

I think I might just want to go ahead and fix that.

I know there is a 'tach board' that is supposed to fix some problems.

Any ideas what my problem may be and what will fix it?

Also, where exactly is the tach board?

Tach board

It is a circuit board behind the tach, you might also what to check the tach fileter first it is located behing the carb on the manafold and should look like a silver cylander with a wire on each side. one coming from the distributor. the other goint to the tach board behind the tach.
